ImpDev ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Trames mobile application (the "App"). Trames is an AI-powered storytelling platform that allows users to generate and experience personalized "parallel life" narratives based on their real-world profile and choices.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have complete control over your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how it is processed by our Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems, and your rights regarding that data.

By accessing or using Trames, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our data practices, please do not use the Services.

1. Information We Collect

To function as a personalized storytelling engine, Trames requires specific details about your life, background, and personality. We collect information in the following categories:

1.1. Account & Authentication Data

When you register for an account, we collect strictly necessary data to secure your access:

• Identifiers: Email address and a unique User ID (UUID).

• Security: Password (stored as a cryptographic hash, never in plain text) or OAuth tokens if you sign in via Apple or Google.

1.2. The "Parallel Life" Profile (Personal Data)

To generate coherent stories where you are the protagonist, you provide detailed demographic and background information. This includes:

• Identity: First name, birth date, and gender.

• Geography: Current country and city, as well as past residence history ("Old Cities") to incorporate your previous locations into story arcs.

• Professional & Educational Background: Your profession, employer name (optional), highest education level, and graduation year.

• Interests: Specific sports and general interests (including frequency of engagement) to tailor story activities.

• Personality Architecture: Social and adventure scores, relationship status (including partner name), and astrological details (Sun sign and Ascendant sign).

1.3. Special Category Data (Sensitive Personal Information)

To enable deep narrative personalization, you may choose to provide data that is legally classified as "Sensitive" or "Special Category" under Article 9 of the GDPR. Providing this data is entirely voluntary.

• Religious & Philosophical Beliefs: Your religious affiliation or philosophical worldview.

• Political Opinions: Your political orientation.

• Health & Lifestyle Data: Information regarding lifestyle habits, specifically alcohol consumption, smoking habits, and recreational drug use frequencies.

Explicit Consent: By inputting this data into your Trames profile, you provide explicit consent for us to process this information solely for the purpose of generating personalized story content. You may withdraw this consent at any time by deleting these specific fields in your Profile Settings.

1.4. User-Generated Content & Interactions

• Story Decisions: We record the choices you make during a story and the written reasons you provide for those choices.

• Prompts: Any text instructions or custom scenarios you input into the story engine.

• Chat Logs: The textual narrative generated by the AI and your interactions with it.

1.5. Technical & Usage Data

• Device Information: Device model, operating system version (iOS), and Timezone (to sync story timing with your real day).

• Usage Logs: Session timestamps, story counts, premium token usage, and subscription status.

• Error Logs: Crash reports and performance logs (processed via Sentry) to help us fix bugs.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to power the Trames experience. Specifically:

We process your Full Profile (Demographics, Background, Sensitive Data) and History to construct prompts for our AI partners. This ensures the story character acts, thinks, and lives like a version of you.

Visual Immersion

We analyze story context to extract non-personal keywords (e.g., "sunset," "office," "Paris") to fetch relevant background imagery.

Service Continuity

We store your current "Life Phase" and story progress so you can pick up exactly where you left off across devices.

Customer Support

We use your email and logs to resolve technical issues you report to us.

Transaction Processing

We process subscription receipts from Apple (App Store) to unlock premium features. We do not process or store your credit card information directly.

3. How We Share Data: AI & Third Parties

Trames is built on advanced Large Language Models (LLMs). This means your data is transmitted to third-party AI providers to generate content. This is a core function of the App.

3.1. AI Service Providers (Data Processors)

To write your story, we transmit your User Profile, Story Context, and User Inputs to the following providers. These providers are contractually bound to process data only for the purpose of generating the response and maintaining safety.

• OpenAI (USA): Used for high-fidelity story generation and logic.

• Anthropic (USA): Used for complex narrative structures and character depth.

• OpenRouter (USA): Used as a fallback and optimization layer to ensure service availability.

Privacy Note: While these providers process your data to generate text, ImpDev does not allow these providers to use your personal story data to train their general public models.

3.2. Other Service Providers

We share minimized data with trusted infrastructure partners:

• Google Firebase: For secure database storage, authentication, and push notifications.

• Pexels: We send only anonymous keywords (e.g., "coffee shop") to retrieve stock photos. Pexels never receives your profile data.

• Sentry: Receives technical error logs which may contain device IDs to assist in debugging crashes.

3.3. Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we have a good faith belief that disclosure is reasonably necessary to (1) investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected or actual illegal activities or (2) assist government enforcement agencies.

4. Data Storage, Security, and Retention

4.1. Storage Locations

• Local Storage: For speed and privacy, significant app state (onboarding progress, cached narratives) is stored locally on your device using iOS Keychain and UserDefaults.

• Cloud Storage: Your profile and story history are synced to our encrypted databases hosted by Google Firebase (US/Global locations) to allow cross-device functionality.

4.2. Security Measures

We employ industry-standard security measures, including:

• Encryption in Transit: All data sent between the App, our servers, and AI providers is encrypted via TLS/SSL.

• Encryption at Rest: Sensitive database fields are encrypted on our servers.

• Password Hashing: We never store user passwords in plain text.

4.3. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only as long as your account is active.

• Account Deletion: If you delete your account via the App settings, your Profile Data, Story History, and Auth Credentials are permanently removed from our production database immediately.

• Backups: Residual copies in backup systems may remain for a limited period (up to 30 days) before being overwritten, but are not accessible for active use.

5. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA, & Global)

ImpDev respects your control over your data. Regardless of where you live, you have the following rights:

1. Right to Access: You may request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.

2. Right to Rectification: You can edit your Profile, Demographics, and Sensitive Data directly within the App settings at any time.

3. Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): You can request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated data.

4. Right to Restrict Processing: You may opt out of providing Sensitive Data (Religion, Politics, Habits) by leaving these fields blank or removing them from your profile. The App will still function, though stories may be less personalized.

5. Right to Data Portability: You may request your story logs and profile data in a machine-readable format.

6. Children’s Privacy

Trames is strictly for users aged 18 and older.

The App utilizes Generative AI which may unpredictably produce mature themes, complex psychological scenarios, or content unsuitable for minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If we become aware that a minor has created an account, we will take steps to delete such information and terminate the account immediately.

7. International Data Transfers

ImpDev operates globally. By using Trames, you acknowledge that your personal information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where our primary AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) and infrastructure (Google Firebase) are located.

We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) with our sub-processors to ensure your data remains protected to GDPR standards during these transfers.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our AI capabilities, legal obligations, or business practices. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or via email. Your continued use of Trames after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
